Ace Liftaway recently embraced road Safety Scheme, Project Pictogram. A large proportion of our vehicles now display the guidelines of the initiative in the form of stickers.
This comes after Philip Liddell made the decision to back the national road safety initiative ‘Project Pictogram’ developed by Phil Palfrey and supported by Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service, Hampshire and Thames Valley Police and Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth Council Road Safety teams.
Project Pictogram is a Fleet, Business and Community road safety initiative. The stickers outline the Fatal Four: Speeding, Mobile Phones, No Seatbelt and Drink & Drugs. They also encourage road users to allow for at least a two-second gap.
Last month, one of our Skip Loaders attended Project Pictogram’s promotional event at Beaulieu Motor Museum. During this launch, the BBC South could be seen filming the Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service cutting someone out of a car. Ace Liftaway are proud to be supporting the initiative and were chuffed to have made an appearance on the BBC in the background of one of the interviews!
