The Romsey Show 2013 was our most successful to date. We decided to celebrate our 25thAnniversary at The Romsey Show this year, and invited current employees, old employees and a large selection of our customers.

The stand this year was three times the size it has been in previous years and was split between the three departments; Waste Services, Waste Recycling and Ace Loo’s. Waste Services comprised of D173 which was our first 17 tonne vehicle purchased by the company, the new Roll on roll off and grab vehicles along with three skip lorries.

The Waste Recycling section was in the middle and was a big attraction amongst the children. JCB brought down their HMEE which is an armoured backhoe loader designed for high speeds in order to self-deploy with military convoys. It can reach up to 60mph and the weight is 16.18 tonnes armoured. We also had our JS220XD and 550 Loadall, which were enjoyed by adults and children alike!

We re-branded Ace Loos at the Romsey Show this year and had a large presence at the show. The new Landover was presented on a rocky terrain along with the newly purchased hook loader comprising of 8 toilets.

The show was a great success for the company. We worked together as a team and our hard work paid off as we were awarded first prize for the best trade stand at the Show!
